Madison + Chris Preshoot/Temple

Love this family as this is the third wedding I've shot for them. Anyone that has to do "The Claw" photo at every wedding is alright in my book. You can't tell, but it was pretty chilly as winter is fast approaching.

We shot the second part of the film the day before and then I added the first half of the song today. You can tell when it suddenly shifts gears from candids to just the couple as it shows both the fun and the romantic sides of their relationship.

The reception tonight was such a blast. Grandma was dancing the night away like I've never seen. Watch for the teaser coming soon!

Sarah + Beau Preshoot

What an amazing family! I shot Sarah's sister's wedding a few years back and was looking forward to the day when I got to hang out with them again. Love, love, love these guys!

We pulled out all the stops for these two and had a Rolls Royce and Vintage Buick there for the shoot. Cars courtesy of http://www.somethingvintagesomethingblue.com/ Really added to the day!

Chris Jones came along for the shoot and we really had a fun time. He'll probably post some behind the scenes shots so be watching for that.

Toby + Jenny Preshoot

We wanted to put together something unique as the video is extremely important to Jenny. One option we have is to include some crane shots with the video so thanks to Chris McClain from www.cmcclainproductions.com who was working the crane during this shoot. Of course we had ideal lighting shooting prior to the wedding day and it was a fun, relaxing shoot as we took our time getting some really great shots.

Toby & Jenny's wedding was this morning and it felt like a big reunion as there were three previous brides in the wedding party. What a great day - the people, the weather, just everything. Can you believe I get paid to do this?! Love it!

Amanda + Drew Same Day Edit

Drew & Amanda are so great in front of the camera and gotta love those fall colors. Perfect weather today. One of the best parts of a wedding film is the candid moments when you don't realize you are being filmed. I love the shots of the grandmas laughing, the crowd taking shots of the couple, the friend dancing and of course Amanda & Drew totally in love just soaking up the moment. Those candid shots are the hardest of all the shots to get and the reason why you hire a professional. They know what to look for and can anticipate when it's going to happen. Of course we have poised shots as well, but those candids are what make the video emotional.

Chase + Jessica

Chase & Jessica's wedding was at the exact same time as another wedding I had booked (8:20 am believe it or not!), so I shot the wedding preshoot and the super talented Chris McClain from www.cmcclainproductions.com shot the wedding day. This is a mix of both.

Rain - wind gusts - night... we had it all within a few hours! This was edited to "Love of My Life" by Jim Brickman per the couple's request as it's their special song. Goes to show how romantic the rain can be.
