Maren & Nate's Teaser

Maren and Nate's Teaser - 5D Mark II from David Perry on Vimeo.

Maren and Nate celebrated their Scottish heritage by "tying the knot" on the their wedding day. So many great things to say about this wedding, but there is more to come when I get back my 8mm film and post a longer edit.

This style of shooting is accomplished through the Canon 5D Mark II, a digital SLR camera which is a new direction some filmmakers are taking to produce documentary style wedding films.

The choice is yours... our traditional style of filming or this new hip look.

Special thanks to Duston Todd Photography.

This is great! Gave me goose bumps there at the end. You're sure rockin' the 5D!

David,

Totally fantastic. One of the best things I have ever seen from you. And I am not just saying that because I am Scottish.

Dear David,
If your short film was the only record we had of Maren and Nate's wedding, I would be satisfied. It was spectacular! You included so many beautiful elements into such a short film. I am blown away. Thank you--I am grateful Maren is so great at finding the best. Lynda Ogden

David, your filmography has really hit the next level with your MK II's. Way to go. I love it all!

So gorgeous...so Romantic...
I could watch this piece over and over and over again.
Really really beautiful!

My boys watched it over and over again (the ones digging in the dirt at the Temple). If you can catch their attention for that long, you ARE something. The film was beautiful! I thought the day was perfect, and you made it that much better.

Are we ever going to see a longer video of this wedding? It looks like it was really fun and full of life! ^_^
