16mm and 8mm at Kelsey Nixon's Wedding

Kelsey Nixon said she wanted her wedding shot on actual film and so this is what we came up with. 16mm in B&W and color and 8mm in color. Everything you see here is actual film! So much fun and extremely unique. How many people do you know that actually have a wedding film?!
Sure, we can shoot on video and make it look like film, but there is nothing like real film and it adds this whole new dimension to making your day timeless.
We processed the film in California and then had it transfered to video in PA. After a few months of our film traveling the country we were able to put this all together and it has been such a blast.
I'll post her reception soon as well.

Hi David,

Great use of film. Loved the light-hearted energy (your personality brings out the best in people!) and this piece made me smile. Rock on & look forward to meeting you again!

Thanks Maurice. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to check out my work and thanks for the kind comments. I have thought often on your presentation at Re:Frame and I'm still thinking up ways to incorporate storytelling skills into my productions. Stay tuned for new films!
